LANSING, Mich. — Norman Dodd and Pam Stille of Spring Lake testified at a hearing of the Senate Environmental Quality Committee on Tuesday in support of Senate Bill 714, sponsored by Sen. Roger Victory, R-Hudsonville (left).
SB 714 would allow public municipalities and private property owners to protect their property when water levels get dangerously high.
